today marks the beginning of my slavery...
it also means i'm starting a whole new chapter of my life.. turning over a new leaf, flipping a new page.. a walk into a different status bracket altogether..
today i started work.

well.. nothing much took place today except for the normal induction, intorduction, overview thingy..
started off the day in wisma pantai.. was introduced to the Group structure and all.. cannot help feeling emotionaly about the size of the structure now..Renong has shrunk.. and that's nothing new to the nation.. including me.. but having witness it there on the slides.. it somehow confirms my denial of the destruction of wat once was a glorious corporate empire lead by Tan Sri Halim Saad..
i guess now it's just history.. and i'm stucked here.. ehehe.... no, that was not a complaint.. not on my first day at least.. ehehe

after very generous tea break and lunch (well..of course there's Q&A session in between) we proceed to MC0BA, the headquarters for U-M Ren0ng Group.. see.. this is one thing i hate.. i dont like the name U-M Renong.. i dont know y.. but this is not suppose to be the way.. (yeah right.. hoping that Tan Sri would treat me or something if he come across this blog) anyway, this is where i'll be for the next 6 months...we then report to our department, mine being the group finance.. which does not have ample space/desk left for us.. so i got myself a room... yes a room, with a computer and all... right next to the GM's room.. how's that for a start?? no, but really.. i dont know how i'm going to make way into that room tomorrow.. isnt it weird?? even my seniors are sitting outside at the desks.. and they dont even have partitions... and me n my batch.. have a cubicle each.. if not a room...
this is not going to be easy... hmm...

later i was brought to bukit raja to P.. where i'll be for the next err.. 3 years or so..
they introduced me to almost all the staff.. which (i think) is not much of a hassle since many are still away for the CNY celebration.. including the person i'll be reporting to. i found my familair senior there.. having worked with him before.. it's quite pleasant to see him again and be working next to him for the next years.. well.. i think..i managed to get a glimpse of my work station there.. very humble.. just the way it should be.. ehehe

all in all.. today was fun.. really.. new faces.. new expectations..
prospect wise... hmm... maybe not so encouraging...yet i found one interesting person somewhere in the corner of P.. but by the look of things.. he could always be married.. oh wow... and since i dont really know who read this shit.. let me not disclose any detail as yet.. since.. i dont wanna spoil my career (heh!) just because of some first sight possibility.. wat am i crapping about??
